Petributes has launched a Shih Tzu urn. The Shih Tzu boosts the range of Petributes’ figurine dog urns to 25 breeds.
The urns provide a discreet way of storing pet ashes, with a carefully concealed hollow interior.
The Shih Tzu’s mischievous personality, coupled with its sociable and relaxed temperament, makes them a very popular choice for a family pet. As a toy breed they need minimal exercise and many owners enjoy their companionable nature. Shih Tzu’s have become a much-loved dog across the UK after being introduced from Asia in the 1930’s. They were first recognised by the Kennel Club in 1940.
All Petributes’ urns are exclusively designed by a West Sussex based sculpturer, who carries out thorough research into the breed, collating dozens of images and studying anatomical books to ensure a true and honest representation.
The finished statue provides a discreet resting place for the ashes of a beloved dog. The urn can also be personalised with an engraved name or short message.
Adam Masters, MD at Petributes, explains: “More and more families are now choosing to cremate their beloved pets when the time comes, opting to keep them close by. Our figurine urns are carefully crafted to provide a fitting resting place which offers a comforting reminder of a family’s cherished four-legged friend. This charming urn really does capture the spirit and personality of these lovely dogs, and we’re very proud it marks the 25th breed in our range.”
