Pet food manufacturer MPM has donated 100s of Christmas selection boxes for pets, to Wigan-based charity The Brick for families in need this Christmas.
The Brick distributes Christmas hampers every year to families across Wigan and Leigh Borough and the charity will once again be delivering hundreds of hampers this Christmas, with the expectation that many more families, than before, will be needing the charities support, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Manchester-based MPM (Making Pet Food Matters) delivered 100s of Applaws Christmas Selections tins for dogs and cats this week. The selection boxes were filled with a range of natural pet food, treats and a little surprise for pets, to be enjoyed this Christmas.
Danielle Grundy, Food Community and Engagement Team Lead at The Brick said: “We were delighted to receive this extremely generous donation from MPM and when we saw the quality of the Applaws Christmas selection tins we were all really grateful and we’re looking forward to adding these gifts for our families pets, to the hampers this year.
“Every year we look to fill the Christmas hampers with a range of festive products and gifts to suit all of the different families out there who need our help at Christmas and this will be the first time that families with pets can also have something special for their cats and dogs to enjoy.”
