According to Tinder, profiles that feature man’s best friend are 5% more likely to secure that all-important swipe right, with over a third of UK young adults saying they would be more likely to swipe right on a person’s dating profile if they have a dog.
We’re not surprised at all! Those big eyes and charming personality – we’re falling already! A survey of 300 conducted by health-led pet food company, Vet’s Kitchen, set out to find the dog breeds prospective dates are most drawn to and it may be surprising that some breeds are seen as more attractive than others.
Leading the pack is the lovable and oh-so-affectionate Labrador, loved by Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Harry Kane. Following closely behind is the tall, dark and handsome German Shepherd (Ben Affleck’s pooch of choice) and the ever-smiling French Bulldog and Staffie, adored by Hugh Jackman and Tom Holland.
