London-based animal welfare charity, Mayhew is holding a month of fundraising fun in May.
The fundraising will help the charity to continue their vital, life-saving work to help abandoned, neglected and vulnerable cats and dogs, as well as owners in need, both in the UK and overseas.
During Month of Mayhew, the charity are encouraging people to be as creative as they can be with suggestions such as, bring your dog to work day, hold a bake sale, or host a dinner dressed in purple (the colour of the charity).
You can also support Mayhew at their annual Open Day on Sunday 13th May, where you can join the street party and enjoy a unique look behind the scenes with a tour of the cattery and veterinary clinic.
Mayhew’s CEO, Caroline Yates, said: “The work we do just wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our supporters who chose to help us in whichever way they can. We can’t wait to see the different ways our supporters will be fundraising for is this month.”
All the money raised from the Month of Mayhew will go towards helping more dogs and cats escape a life of cruelty, neglect and abandonment in the UK and overseas.
