ProDog Raw, a local business known for creating nutritionally balanced, high-quality raw foods for dogs, are delighted to announce that they will be attending Crufts 2022 from the 10th-13th March.
As ProDog Raw are set to host a raffle at the event, educate dog owners about the benefits of raw feeding, and see several ProDog Raw-fed dogs compete in this year’s competition, Crufts 2022 is set to be an exciting milestone for the Hull-based brand.
As a small business, ProDog Raw’s attendance at Crufts, ‘The World’s Greatest Dog Show’, is a tremendous achievement. There, ProDog Raw can showcase their industry-leading products, highlighting the importance of raw feeding for man’s best friend.
This is something the entire ProDog Raw team are incredibly passionate about, as ProDog Raw’s CEO, Heidi Maskelyne, says: “Raw feeding is the ideal diet for every dog. This food provides them with all of the nutrients they require, allowing them to flourish physically, mentally, and emotionally. Being able to use Crufts as a platform to highlight this is huge, we can’t wait.”
Meanwhile, ProDog Raw’s consultant vet Dr. Nick Thompson (The Holistic Vet), who will be attending Crufts with the team on March 10th, has explained the importance of bringing raw feeding to the attention of dog owners everywhere.
He said: “Feeding dogs raw or fresh food is possibly the most important health intervention a caring dog owner can do. Giving dogs species-appropriate, real, meat-based food daily has been proven through millions of years of evolution to be the healthiest option. Most people wouldn’t eat ultra-processed foods and expect to be healthy; equally, I struggle to see how synthetic, food-like ‘products’ can fuel our dogs’ long-term health. I value the chance to talk to dog owners at Crufts about the health advantages we see when we change dogs’ diets to raw.”
ProDog Raw will be running a raffle at Crufts, allowing winners to take home hundreds of pounds worth of goodies for their dog. These prizes include products kindly donated by ProDog Raw, George Barclay, Pawfit, and Boston Pet, whilst entries will cost only £1, with winners being announced at the event on Sunday.
All money raised is set to be donated to three of ProDog Raw’s dedicated charities: Dogs 4 Wildlife, All Dogs Matter and Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, making ProDog Raw’s appearance at Crufts not only beneficial to the brand, but several deserving causes surrounding animal welfare.
ProDog Raw’s efforts to support these charities extend beyond Crufts, as the business has sponsored one of Dogs 4 Wildlife’s inspiring poaching dogs, Shinga, supporting her training and deployment to Zimbabwe where she’ll help to protect endangered rhinos.
