Dogs Trust Merseyside hope to banish the Monday Blues with a little help from rescue dog Raffa.
Today (Monday 21 January) has been dubbed the most depressing day of the year, as Christmas memories fade, the dark nights continue, miserable weather and poor bank balances.
However, Dogs Trust Merseyside is hoping to banish the blues with a little help from ten-year-old Raffa who they say brings a smile to their faces every day.
Georgina Lowery, Manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, says: “Raffa never fails to make us smile. He is very silly and affectionate and just full of joy. He was first with us as a puppy and came back to us three years ago after his owner could no longer take care of him.
“He is a very special boy and we are so fond of him but what would bring an even bigger smile to our faces is if he was to find the forever home he deserves. In the meantime, we hope he cheers everyone up on this Blue Monday.”
