Fish4Dogs has renewed and extended its sponsorship of the UK Flyball League with a two year deal.
The league, which was founded last year, highlights inclusivity – actively promoting and encouraging the involvement of diverse groups, including young and disabled teams.
The premium pet food company initially sponsored the League’s inaugural championship in August last year. The event was held over three days at Lincolnshire Show ground and was attended by more than 800 people.
The new two-year sponsorship package will see Fish4Dogs extend its support of the League as it expands its activities and makes the showground its permanent competition base.
Head of Marketing at Fish4Dogs, Jo Little, said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our sponsorship of the UK Flyball League. This organisation has such passion and enthusiasm and whole-heartedly shares our joy of happy, healthy dogs having fun. Its inclusive approach, enjoyment of this sport and their love of dogs is hugely energising.”
The deal was announced at the League’s annual meeting where committee member, Jen Collins, told delighted members: “UKFL as very fortunate to receive generous assistance from Fish4Dogs at our first ever championships. The scale of prizes I’m sure you will agree, was on another level. It is important to remember that this incredible generosity underpinned by the many share values that we have, along with a sincere belief in our objectives.
“Our relationship has continued to grow, and the company has again agreed to sponsor our championships, not only with rosettes and prizes, but also assisting with the purchase of perimeter barriers, gazebos, equipment and lights that will give the events real finesse.”
