Larger than life virtual dog goes walkies at London’s King’s Cross Station

This week, travellers at London’s King’s Cross Station were greeted by the waggy tail of a larger-than-life canine commuter named ‘Max’.

Max, the holographic virtual Labrador, was released by YuMOVE, to educate the capital’s human commuters about the importance of pet joint care.

YuMOVE’s 360-degree experiential advertisement showcased the latest evolution in holographic technology, provided by HyperGram, using ultra-HD 8K picture quality holographic projections to bring a bouncy Labrador to the arrival hall of one of London’s busiest railway stations.

While dogs are becoming an increasingly familiar sight on the UK’s rail network, thanks to the advent of hybrid working, this all-wagging, water-splashing holographic hound was a network first.

The mighty Max brightened up an early start and brought weekday commuter traffic to a standstill – both canine and human alike – as it put on an impressive display of playfulness and joie de vivre.

YuMOVE’s mighty Max will be at King’s Cross Station until October 12th and at Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush from October 23rd to 25th. The public is invited to meet Max and have the chance to win prizes in the process.
