If you’re looking for something to do with your children this half term, then head down to your local Pets at Home store for a series of free pet workshops.
The fun, free workshops aim to educate the next generation of pet owners on how to care for pets responsibly.
The ‘Creature Care’ themed events take place across the UK from 6 October to 4 November and will teach kids how to care for lots of different pets.
Children will learn about the five welfare needs – shelter, food and water, good health appropriate company and the right living environment – and even get the chance to interact with some pets in-store.
Mark Smith, pet operations manager at Pets at Home, says: “Our Creature Care workshops are designed to teach young pet lovers about responsible pet ownership, whilst having lots of fun at the same time.
“Our expert colleagues will offer tips and advice on pet care, whilst making the workshops both interactive and educational – an ideal activity over the half term break.”
