The RSPCA in Suffolk is looking to find a special home for a fang-tastic cat who hopes the recent popularity of vampire flick Nosferatu may help him find a castle to call his own.
RSPCA Martlesham Animal Centre, part of the Suffolk Central branch, is looking to find a home for five-year-old Archie who has sadly spent over 120 days in RSPCA care. The black male cat, with two little fangs which permanently stick out of his mouth, was rescued by RSPCA inspectors following welfare concerns.
And just like his vampire look-a-likes, Archie too can be a little bit feisty and is looking for a patient and understanding home.
Donna Rich, cattery supervisor at the branch, said: “Archie is a beautiful boy who enjoys company and attention but he can be a little cheeky generally when he’s over stimulated when having fuss from people. He would benefit from attention in small doses and for owners to make sure they get consent from him first – usually in the form of a little head bump!
“He is looking for a patient and understanding home who understands these boundaries and can provide him with lots of enrichment and playtime to reduce frustration and keep his busy brain occupied. Once he has all of this, we hope Archie will make a perfect companion as this little Vampurr is just dying to meet someone special who will be his biggest fang!”
Archie would prefer to be the only cat in the home and he would prefer not to live with a dog. He could be rehomed to families who have teenagers or older and he will need to go outside to explore, and also enjoy plenty of playtime with his owner.
