This Mother’s Day, a doggy duo at Dogs Trust Salisbury will spend some quality time together as they await a loving new home together.
The furry mother and daughter duo, nine-year old Spaniel cross Rosie and her eight-year old daughter Poppy have always lived together and are totally inseparable.
They both arrived at the Salisbury rehoming centre through no fault of their own and are looking forward to being part of a loving family once again.
Rosie and Poppy are not only mother and daughter, but they are the very best of friends. Staff at the centre say that they both enjoy the quiet life and love each other’s company, so they are looking for a quiet home together with a secure garden for them to explore, and a spot on the sofa where they can curl up and snooze.
Dogs Trust Salisbury Rehoming Centre Manager, Jacinta Lye said: “It’s not often we see a mother and daughter duo looking for a home together. They are such sweet characters and we know they will settle into their new home well with their devoted family by their side.
“Rehoming a pair of dogs can be incredibly rewarding, especially if it means you’re helping to keep a furry family together. We’re appealing to anyone who thinks that they can offer them both a home to please get in touch – it’s a case of double the dog and double he love.”
