Could gorgeous Gizmo be your new best friend?

The team at Dogs Trust Snetterton are appealing for a new home for gorgeous German Shepherd cross, Gizmo.

Gizmo is a 5-year old German Shepherd cross who is ready to meet his new best friend and move into his fur-ever home. He is an outdoorsy boy who loves getting out and about on walks, so if you’re looking for an adventure buddy – look no further.

The way to this boy’s heart is through toys and games, as he is a fun-loving boy who loves his playtime. Gizmo is a clever boy and has shown lots of potential.

Gizmo’s adopter will need to continue using positive reward-based training and dedicate time to training him, which will provide some mental stimulation for this busy boy.

Gizmo will be the paw-fect match and an adult-only active home, with adopters who will enjoy playing with him and keeping him amused. He would love an enclosed garden where he can bounce around, play and let off energy.

Gizmo can take time to build relationships with people but will be a loyal friend to the lucky person who gives him a chance. Although Gizmo would like to be the only pet in the home, he would love some doggie friends that he can socialise with on walks.

He is a friendly boy and will happily hang out with other dogs. Gizmo is comfortable when travelling in the car, which is great as he’d love to explore lots of walks in different locations. Once he has settled into the home and has found his paws, he can be left alone for a few hours when needed.

Emily Johnston, Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Snetterton, said: “When this beautiful boy has settled in, he will grow in confidence and show his fun, bubbly personality. Gizmo will become more affectionate as he becomes more comfortable, and we’re sure he’ll become a loyal companion in his fur-ever home.

“Even though we really enjoy his company, we do hope that Gizmo doesn’t have to wait at the centre for too much longer before he finds his special someone.”
