Battersea is inviting one and all to come together for every dog and cat and kick off the festive season at the much-loved charity’s Christmas Carol Concert on Friday 2 December and Friday 9 December 2022.
Guests will be welcomed to the beautiful St Luke’s & Christ Church, Chelsea, by a special guard of honour formed by some of Battersea’s incredible rescue dogs. On the evening the audience will enjoy popular carols and festive music from the Collegium Musicum of London Chamber Choir (CML) as well as a performance from est End actor and singer, Nardia Ruth.
A variety of special guests will provide plenty of cheer, including festive readings by Battersea Ambassador and broadcaster, Sue Perkins (2 December) and friends of Battersea Kirsty Gallacher and Joanna Scanlan (9 December). There will be mulled wine and mince pies aplenty, as well as the chance to pick up some gifts from Battersea’s pop-up shop.
Nathalie Ingham, Canine Behaviour and Training Manager at Battersea said: “Battersea’s Carol Concert is such a magical event, and it’s always heart warming to see so many people come together at Christmastime to show their love and support for rescue animals. It really is the perfect way to start the Christmas season”.
Seating is unreserved and tickets are arranged into downstairs, priced at £32, and upstairs, priced at £22. Doors open at 7pm, with the concert starting at 7:30pm.
As some of Battersea’s very special dogs will be in attendance, concertgoers are asked not to bring their own dogs on this occasion.
Tickets are available online now and are expected to sell quickly https://www.battersea.org.uk/support-us/christmas-carol-concert.
