DogFest 2018 has announced their key sponsor partnerships for this year’s events, which include The Big Tick Project and Animal Friends Pet Insurance.
Tens of thousands of dog lovers are set to attend the ultimate festival for dogs, which returns this summer for its fifth year with three UK dates.
The Big Tick Project is set to sponsor the Great Dog Walk; led by DogFest host Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick. Chris Packham will also join The Big Tick team on their stand to help raise awareness of the dangers of ticks to humans, as well as dogs, providing talks on the threat of these dangerous parasites.
Award-winning Animal Friends Pet Insurance joins as the event’s official insurance sponsor, as well as the sponsor for the Dog Activity Ring. The Dog Activity Ring is the main entertainment arena at DogFest and home to a programme of exciting demos and displays.
The UK’s leading animal welfare charity, RSPCA also joins DogFest as a sponsor of the Fun Dog Show, which attracts no fewer than 700 people and dogs into the arena each day.
This key festival feature aims to find and awards the show’s friendliest dog, happiest dog, best rescue and more with classes taking place throughout the day. Working to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs is just one of the ways that the RSPCA strives to make the world more #DogKind.
Premium pet food brand Eukanuba, along with its sister brand Smartbones will attend the shows as sponsors of the Hay Bale Race. The race is one of the event’s most popular ‘have-a-go’ activities, which showcases canine fitness in a fun, highly interactive way.
DogFest Founder and Managing Director, Nicole Cooper, says: “We are thrilled to be welcoming such fantastic new sponsors to DogFest 2018 and thankful to those who have continued to support us year after year. Together we aim to give our visitors, and their dogs, a unique shopping experience and the ultimate fund day out.”
