International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals (IAPWA) has released a free activity pack for primary schools.
The activity packa ims to educate children on topics of animal welfare. Animal Stories provides a step-by-step guide to creating a classroom performance that represents the journey of a rescue dog or cat. The pack includes information on the importance of good animal care and seeks to spark thoughtful discussion on the place of animals in our society.
Animal Stories can form part of a larger animal/environmental curriculum or act as a standalone activity.
